A unique (and somewhat out of season) transport opportunity has arisen. A friend who is a well seasoned longtime goat breeder from down south is making the trip here to visit relatives over the holiday season. She has offered to transport any goats for me that need to hitch a ride south.
I have decided to open this opportunity up to anyone on my waiting list no matter how long or short your wait time has been, since the time I have to plan for the trip is limited and I want to make sure, during this holiday season that my vet has enough time to get here for CVIs.
I hope to hear from just the right 2Leg or 2Legs for these young men.
Both have DNA on file, have already bred does, and along with the entire herd been tested negative this fall for CAE, TB & Brucellosis (ELISA via WADDL).
I could gush on about both of them for a long time but the first step I would recommend is to go to my website and research their family trees.
They are both lead trained and friendly but not so friendly as to be obnoxious. In other words, they look at us as their friendly bosses not peers.
Parting with these two is difficult. I previously had no plans to let them go but sometimes life circumstances demand difficult decisions. It does not hurt quite as bad as it could to let them go because I have sisters to both of them.
If you are interested in purchasing any animal listed for sale on this page, please private message
Old Mountain Farm on messenger or email me at goatsnob@maine.rr.com
Please make sure that you will be able to arrange transport in a reasonable amount of time.
