"Anna J."...Ahh, what can I say? I can find no
faults with this little doe no matter how hard I try.
At the last show of the 2002 season she was chosen
Grand Champion Junior Doe even though she was only
four months old. When explaining his reasons for his choice,
judge; David Funk continued on to say that Anna J. was by
far the best junior doe for the breed that he had touched
or seen in quite awhile. Anna J. then went on to win
the Junior Champion Challenge even though all her
competition was old enough to be pregnant.
***Update*** Anna J's lovely first fresh udder has pliable
skin and nice media and plumb, plump, teats!
***2007 update*** Anna J. just continues to blow me away.
Her third fresh udder is even more capacious than during he first
two freshenings and her attachments can clearly support all that
milk. She now has "handful's" of teats that express much better
than they did during her first and second freshening. During our 2007
Linear appraisal, Appraiser: Betty Henning said "Now that's the
rump you want to be breeding for!" She also chose Anna J. as the
"Best Udder" in our herd.
