Prairie Wood Blue Socks
"Socks" is a doe that has proven that she "throws" whatever she is bred to which I feel is a very valuable type of doe to have in ones herd. She has a soft smooth haircoat, slender neck, beautiful head, straight legs and strong tight feet with very strong pasturns. She is very graceful on the move and has tremendous width throughout but unfortunately is a little posty legged and not long or level enough in the rump. She has a capacious well-attached udder with good-sized teats that milk easily but do point out. We refer to Socks as our "sturdy" goat. She has played a important role in building my herd. I have several of her daughters and granddaughters that are also small, sturdy, hardyand milk powerhouses.
